  1. That was the issue. Updated to Sierra and now all is good. The update I did to iOS 10 was the issue. Major changes in that demand a more current MacOS. Thanks for your advice!
  2. I tried other ports for connection with no luck. My iTunes version is 12.2.2. It shows as up-to-date for software. Very confused.
  3. Hello! Suddenly, my iPhone 6+ will not connect to iTunes. I get this error message: **iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "GLEN's iPhone" because an invalid response was received from the device.** It has connected problem-free for the last year or so. I did update to iOS 10 in September. Does this have anything to do with it? HELP!
  4. I have an iMac I got in 2007. Currently, updated to OS X 10.4.11. Tried going to Apple.com and looking for downloads but can't find for this earlier version (10.6) I'm trying to run Chrome which needs system to be 10.6 or later. Stupid question: How can I get to this version easily? Also trying to do the same for my Macbook Thanks!
  5. That's not the problem. I cannot even get the app to open on this one side.
  6. Still won't open. When I do that, I get the same message "Adobe Photoshop CS unexpectedly quit" Ignore...Report...Reopen This same thing happens with each of the Adobe apps in CS. It's still problem free on the other ID though.
  7. My partner and I use two separate IDs on the same iMac. As of this weekend, my partner is not able to open any of the Adobe Creative Suite apps on his side but I have no problem on my side. This is the original Creative Suite. Any ideas on the problem/solution?? Thanks!
  8. I keep getting this message: Internet Connect Could not find a PPPoE server. I don't use that for this old computer. This message will pop up many times and can't remember how to turn it off. Thanks in advance!
  9. I have been working on both Mac and PC for my business. The main tasks on the PC are financial and I use Quickbooks. I want to streamline and simplify by using only the Mac. Anyone have experience with Quickbooks for the Mac? Nervous about transferring and possible problems with data. Glen
  10. I'm still really puzzled as to how this AirPort worked all by itself with this same PC and my old iMac G5, and now, with the new mac, it doesn't work anymore.
  11. Any suggestions on a router? What would be the future use of this AirPort Express?
  12. OK, basics for dummies, probably, but how do I do that? My PC doesn't have wireless capability which is why I'm using the AirPort on that machine. On my other iMac G5, I had the network working fine. Now that I have this new mac, I can't get it to work. I was thinking that I had some of the settings incorrect on the mac which was why the AirPort wasn't accessible.
  13. Yes, trying to share the iMac connection. Here's the info on the Mac: Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac11,1 Processor Name: Intel Core i5 AirPort Express is what I'm trying to use downstairs.
  14. I have my iMac connected via ethernet for cable modem. AirPort is downstairs with my PC connected. I was able to connect ti internet through the AirPort on my PC with my old mac. I just bought a new iMac this past weekend and can't get the connection established. Here's the message in my Network settings on the mac, for the AirPort: AirPort has the self-assigned IP address 169.254.249.123 and will not be able to connect to the Internet. The AirPort is on. I can't get the PC to connect though. The light on the AirPort itself just blinks. What am I overlooking or not doing right??
  15. Well, it happens in both Yahoo and Gmail accounts. I'm puzzled as to why it does this both on the mac and the PC with Safari, but is problem free in Internet Explorer for both Yahoo and Gmail. That's why I though it was related to Safari.
