  1. If I purchase a copy of Windows 7, will I be able to install and activate it under Bootcamp, and then again on the same Macintosh in VMWare Fusion under OS X?
  2. After I posted this issue this morning, i played one of my purchased songs on the iPhone. Once I had done that, i re-synced, and the application downloaded without issue. But thanks for your input!
  3. I’m using a 4 GB first generation iPhone. I purchased an iPhone application on Friday when the store became available. It ran on the phone as expected. Subsequently on Friday night while at the bars I broke the phone. The genius at the Apple Store was kind enough to replace the phone at no charge. Everything is good with the new phone, except that when I try to sync back the app I purchased, I receive a message saying that the phone is not authorized to run that app, and it does not sync. Songs purchased with the same iTunes account sync fine. Any ideas?
  4. New macbook!!
  5. Agreed.
  6. Doesn't the user folder contain a library folder?
  7. No, it wasn't offered. I guess if it isn't broken, I shouldn't try to fix it.
  8. Yesterday Apple released a firmware update for iMacs equipped with the Radeon HD 2400 XT and the Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics cards at the link below. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ima...eupdate101.html I have one of these machines, but when I attempt to apply the update, the installer displays a message reading "Your computer does not need this update." According to the article, after a successful update the ROM version will be 113-B2250L-259, but mine still reads 113-B2250F-219. Does anyone know what's going on with this update?

  11. Thanks Graham. I was able to fix the problem. I uninstalled PSE4, and reinstalled PSE6 over the over the original installation. All works as expected now.
  12. I recently installed the newly released Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac, and immediately noticed that the "Save For Web" feature does not work. Launching it from the menu has no effect, no matter what image type I'm editing. Any suggestions? I should add that I left PSE4 installed when I put 6 on the machine, maybe they conflict? I uninstalled Ver 4 but I'm seeing the same problem.
