    Dual extermal displays with MBP?

FYI, I got the NewerTech USB -> DVI adapter, and it works great in Windows 7 on my MBP. (Haven't tried it in OS X yet).

    Dual extermal displays with MBP?

Thanks for the insight. I guess I'll give it a try, I'd be using this extra display just for work stuff... no video or games, so it might be ok. The other hardware solution I found uses the single Display Port to drive two monitors, but the OS sees it as one big monitor. That would be ok... except I think then the dock or windows task bar would span across both screens which would drive me nuts.
  3. Hi all, I have a unibody Macbook Pro, and I would like to use two 24" displays with it. (With the lid closed, not using the built in display). What are my options? I have found these two USB -> DVI adapters, but I haven't been able to find any real reviews on them, so I'm not sure how well they would work: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/VIDU2DVIA/ http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=8863 Thanks!

    Microphone for music recording

There are TONS of different options... a good place to start is to let us know what your budget is. Are you looking to spend $100? $500? $5000? And what kind of instruments are you looking to record? Electric bass? Acoustic guitar? Different microphone types will be better suited for different instruments. Cheers!

    dell replacement battery!?

Hey guys, I am a longtime mac user, but I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 I use for work. The dell battery died, and all the reviews on batteries on the Dell website are awful. Does anyone know where I can find a decent replacement battery for this laptop that isn't insanely overpriced? (I really don't want to spend $200 on a battery for a $600 computer!) Thanks!!
