    iPod Touch Restore

My iPod Touch has been acting up lately so I finally decided to do a complete System Restore. It is going to take a while to write down all of my system settings and preferences (so I know what they were when I restore it) but I am going to do it anyway. My question is, how do I get my PURCHASED January Software Upgrade back on my iPod Touch? It shows up in my iTunes store account as purchased, but not on my "Purchased" list within iTunes. I'm sure it is a simple step, I'm just not sure how to do it. Thanks! Apple Geek

    Macbook Touch coming?

It has been talked about for a while now, and it is bound to happen eventually but I would think it would still be a few years down the road. AppleInsider shows a video of Microsoft's "Windows 7" OS using Multi-touch as its main input, so you know Apple has to be thinking about it too. But as the video shows, the consumer would have to purchase a brand new computer (to have the touch screen) and if the DVD business tells us anything it is that consumers aren't exactly quick to pick up and embrace brand new technology - sure Blu-Ray has its fans but has in no way captured a majority of the market. Same with TVs, HDTV is growing but your average Joe consumer probably still doesn't have one yet. I'm sure we could be 5, 10, and maybe even 15 years from having touch screen computers being in the majority of households. Just my 2 cents. Apple Geek

Question: The Mac OS X Missing Feature?

Haha! You got me to spend about an hour and a half just watching some old Steve Jobs Keynotes on YouTube. There were some pretty good ones on there! As a side note: Does anyone know of any possible place where you can watch all the old keynotes (From MacWorld or WWDC) in a higher quality and uninterrupted form other than YouTube? Sort of an archive of all the videos? I'm even having trouble finding the most recent ones on Apple.com. Apple Geek

    Safari

Ok thanks anyway. I know, I don't have a Mac yet. But I have been reading up on them for quite some time and fully intend to get one (Macbook) later this year. I have been holding off for 2 reasons: 1) There have been rumors about an update to the Macbook family so I want to wait for that and 2) If I'm lucky, I can swing the purchase as a Christmas/High School Graduation gift and not have to pay for it with as much of my own money. (Plus I'm working to convince my mom to go with a Mac if and when our 7 year old PC finally dies - this is our first computer, sad I know.) Thanks! Apple Geek

    Safari

I was wondering if there is any way to keep the "Find" banner up permanently in Safari. I use it very frequently and I find it rather annoying to have to go back under the menus every time I want to use it. Yes, Ctrl + F is a little faster, but keeping it there permanently would be even nicer. Also, I am running Safari on Windows XP if that makes any difference. Thanks! Apple Geek

    Increasing track volume

I am pretty sure that it does. And I don't see why it wouldn't, but I'm not 110% sure. I think it just increases the "starting volume" of the track so it just starts louder and then you can adjust it from there on your iPod. <-- I know that made no sense, but I hope you kind of understand what I'm saying. Increasing track volume

In iTunes, right click on the song (or group of songs), select Get Info, and then under the Options Tab, you can change the volume under Volume Adjustment. (When selecting more than one song, the Volume Adjustment will be on the first window.) This should fix your problem. You just may have to play around with it a little bit until you get it just right. Also, in your preferences, under the Playback tab, you can select "Sound Check" and iTunes will automatically adjust the volume of your music so they all sound the same. I hope this helps! Apple Geek

    New "Get A Mac" ads

Haha! This is probably my favorite ad yet. I do love all of them though, they make me laugh every time I see them!

    iPod Touch Maps Locator Feature

I am not sure. I would like to be able to use that feature too, but every time I have used it it tells me that "Your location could not be determined."
