    Scrolling ALL ways

You can scroll sideways if you hold shift down and use the scroll wheel on the mouse, but it might be alt you have to push, so it's either alt or shift while you scroll to go sideways.

Weird Screen colors for one user

She just reversed the colours, hold control + alt + command and press 8 to change it back to normal. If you want you can turn off this keyboard shortcut under keyboard and mouse in the system preferences.

    Garage Band adding blank seconds

I'm not sure if this has been asked before or is really obvious to work out, I did a search and didn't find anything. Whenever I make a track in Garage Band and select send to iTunes it adds about 3 seconds of nothing to the end of the song. I had a look in the preferences and didn't see anything to stop it, can anyone tell me what the problem is?

    Free Single of The Week

I don't usually listen to the sorts of music that the free download offers, so I have always steered clear of them.

    Unchecking items

So I have some songs in my iTunes library that were performed live by the band, and because of this I have them unchecked so they don't come up in shuffle or anything. But when I want to listen to them, I have to recheck them all so that they don't go the next album after each song has finished. I have a playlist for them, which I rechecked and I can listen to it great, but then when I go back into the library they are checked again and that is not what I want. Is there a way to have certain songs checked in a playlist, but not in the main library? Any help would be great, thanks.

    trouble ejecting Ipod

You could make sure you have iTunes closed, and any other program that would connect to the iPod is closed. If that doesn't work, sometimes with other devices I have had to clear the recently used documents and applications list before it would successfully eject.

GPRS over Bluetooth with Sony Ericsson T630

I have done this myself with a Sony Ericsson K750i, and I think that it should be very easy to set up for your phone too. You are correct, you need to download a modem script, here is a link to where I got mine, http://www.taniwha.org.uk/. You need to download the mobile phone scripts for a GPRS Sony Ericsson phone. When you have that, unzip it and move the files into your modem scripts folder on your hard drive. Next you'll need to setup your phone with your Mac using bluetooth preferences in the system preferences or bluetooth assistant. Then go in the network preferences and find bluetooth, then you need to fill out some parts here. Your username and password need to be from your phone network, you can find most of them here http://www.taniwha.org.uk/gprs.html, for instance I use O2 and my username is o2wap and my password is web. Then you'll want to select the modem script in one of the tabs, I can't remember which one because I'm on a pc at the moment, but you should choose a modem script, a Sony Ericsson one, I use something like GPRS 1. Then on your phone, you go into setup > connectivity > internet settings > internet profiles and choose O2 Wap GPRS. Then use internet connect to connect through bluetooth and you should be good to go. If you have any problems doing this I'd be happy to help.

How often do you visit the MacCast.com homepage?

I usually go on there when I'm at college to check if there is a new podcast up, again when I'm at home, and to reach this forum at college because I'm too lazy to bookmark it.

    The OSX opening song

Great thanks I've been looking for this video too for ages!
  13. Yeah you should definitely keep the music at the end, I've heard some nice songs on there that I definitely like, and if I don't like it, I'll skip it no problem.

    'dead' pixels

You might be able to fix stuck pixels, but definitely not dead ones. Do a google search for fixing stuck pixels.
