  1. The screen on the iMac is not a "glossy" screen its just a normal matt screen but it has a plate of glass over it so wouldn't the colors be accurate? i herd this some place on the iMac review i think it was gizmodo or Macworlds review.. Please correct me if i am wrong :)DSC_3815.jpg

  2. wow. thats the best iMac ive seen, i think its better than the LCD G4 iMac. I woke up at 3 in the morning to watch engadget, I haven't watched the video yet, but I think steve said 2.4GHz Core 2 Extreme but its really 2.8 Core 2 Extreme, and normal Core 2 Duos (probably Santa Rosa version) in the normal models.

Looking at the image of the mac product line, the new iMac seems a bit out of place with the black screen border, the other models (i.e. macbook pro) would look cool if they followed the design.

I agree i hope some of the Imacs new look gets distributed to the rest of the pro line i think the consumer line still looks fine. Even thought the iMac used to be a consumer product i think its in the middle now.

  3. I don't think the new iMacs will be at WWDC but probably will be released in October or September. The things that i think will be revealed at WWDC would be the iPhone, iLife, iWork, Mac OS X 10.5 (features) and a new Macbook Pro.

  4. Glossy is way better in my opinion, but if you want "True colors" then go with matt... but overall glossy is way better its easier to clean, looks brighter, and you can see it better when in the sun then a matt screen.

  5. "Digitimes claims that Apple will be shipping 15.4" MacBooks in the second quarter of 2007:

Apple is planning to introduce 15.4-inch MacBooks in the second quarter of 2007, according to industry sources in Taiwan. The new model will fill the gap between the company's 13.3-inch MacBooks and the 15.4- and 17-inch MacBook Pros that form its current notebook line up, and is expected to boost shipments of Apple's Intel-powered MacBooks, the sources add.

Historically, Digitimes has not been very accurate with their predictions, but a number of recent Digitimes rumors have been corroborated, if not confirmed. (LED-backlit Laptops, Apple Notebook with Robson Caching)"

As said by Mac Rumors http://www.macrumors.com/2007/02/15/...-quarter-2007/

  6. Lately I have been having some problems with my iBook G4 14 inch. One day all of a sudden it turned off by itself and then whenever I turned it on it booted to a blue screen and nothing else happened. So I took my iBook in and they said that I had a faulty hardrive. Now it’s working fine except that sometimes it randomly shuts down and it can’t be turned back on unless I remove the battery. After I remove the battery and turn it back on the date and time changes way back in time like 1997. This random shutdown issue has happened at least 5 times and only happens when it’s running on battery power. Is there something wrong with my logic board like the macbooks? Or is it the battery.

    thanks in advance

  7. Has anybody got a core 2-duo Macbook? I was just wondering if anyone has noticed problems with them like heat issues and loud fans. I was also wondering if the speakers are about the same quality/loudness as the 14.5-inch iBook G4? I’m particularly interested with the black Macbook and was wondering if it’s as easy to clean as the white?

Sorry for all the questions :D

  8. Anybody here get a Wii? how do you like it?

  9. Which one are you going to buy? The wii, ps3, or the Xbox 360?

Personally i am talking a lean towards ether the Nintendo wii or the ps3. I am not an Xbox fan at all...

What’s your preference out of all the consoles?
