    Video freezes

Most weirdness... This problem seems to have gone away. The only thing I can think of is that I moved the monitor the secondary display was one. This means that I physically moved the monitor, including unplugging it and moving the secondary display to the other side of the primary. After this, the problem went away. I have since returned the secondary display to the original location. The problem did not come back. Does anyone think this could've been caused by a loose cable?

    Video freezes

The primary display is at 1680x1050. The secondary is at 1200x1600. HM...That's a good idea for trouble shooting. I'll give it a try.

    Video freezes

That might be the case. I'll keep this in mind when I call AC. But, I would think this would happen will all video on the second screen. Well, it won't happen then. Without the mini DVI plugged in, there's not second screen. This only happens when the video is played on the second screen. I'll try that.

    Video freezes

I'm having an odd problem. I have an iMac (20" intel core duo). I'm using a mini-DVI->DVI to attach a SyncMaster 213T 21" monitor to expand the desktop. I have the SyncMaster rotated 90 degrees. Anytime I try to play certain video clips/streams in the second display, the whole system's video freezes. All videos play freeze. The mouse will move, but will not interact with anything. I've tried to click on open applications, the dock and the menu bar, but nothing happens. I have to power the system off with the power button. This happens with some video, but not all. Any videos playing in these applications will freeze: Quicktime EyeTV YouTube videos playing in Safari The only videos I've noticed that do not freeze the system are YouTube videos playing in Firefox. I'll probably experiment more with this later tonight when I can afford to reboot (I can't right now, too busy). I'll report back with the results. Has anyone seen anything like this and (hopefully) fixed it?

    VPN Problem

UM...No, I haven't been at work all this time. I guess my ADD just kicked in. What you need to do is open the properties for the connection. There are three tabs about a quarter of the way down the dialog box. One of them is "Transport". At the bottom of that tab there is a check box labeled "Allow Local LAN Access". Make sure it's checked. You might have to tweak the timeout just below it too.

    VPN Problem

Sorry I'm so late to the party. There's a check box on there somewhere that says something like "allow local network". I'll report back after I get home from work give better instructions.

    Incomplete songs on iPod

Converting to ACC (m4a) didn't work. Converting to mp3 did fix it. I don't really want to do that and loose the album art, but I unless I can find a way to actually fix the problem I guess I don't have a choice.

Will converting to AAC loose the album art, lyrics and otherr meta-data?

    Incomplete songs on iPod

I have also tried removving one of the osngs from the iTunes library, syncing, adding the song back and syncing. It still cuts to the next song after 3 seconds. It's not three seconds on every song, but it is on the one I tried, still at 3 seconds.

    Incomplete songs on iPod

I know it was happening to at least one song pre-5.0

The songs are from ITMS. iTunes is version 5.0.1. Is there a version 5.1? I was also wrong about the podcast having the trouble. So with me, it's just songs from ITMS.

I'm not glad you're having the same problem, but I am glad it's not just me. I have now seen it happen to a podcast too.
