Don't you have to check a little box or something when you register for online stuff saying that you are over 13?

Sometimes, but not everywhere.

I checked and you have to here. Hmm... :wink:

Ok, OK.

I got 2 things to say:

1. I admit it!!! I overly posted and was being overly selfish.

I'm not like you adults. I'm still figuring out the world, and usually i'm not like that. Something happened. I'm sorry. I wont do it again. I Give My Word.

2. Er.Mu, you amaze me, saying your "13+".

I wish Adam would turn off the option that shows number of posts for each member.

That's probably not a bad idea. I'd like it if you had to click through to the profile to see it.

Good. I am glad that you realize what you were doing. Next time, maybe you should stop after realizing it the first time... 8)

Just an idea...

Maybe Adam could change the ranks to say:

•New Mac Geek->New MacCast Member 0 posts

•Mac Geek In Training->MacCast Member In Training 10 posts

•Mac Geek Apprentice->MacCast Apprentice 25 posts

•Mac Geek->MacCast Member 50 posts

•Uber Mac Geek->Über MacCast Member 100 Posts

•Supreme Mac Geek->Supreme MacCast Member 250 Posts

•Mac Geek God->MacCast Specialist 500 posts

And for those administrators: The MacCaster

--macosx.4

Or we could just drop the whole thing, and not care since it really doesn't matter.

I can totally agree with that. I will say again, though, that I wish Adam would turn off the number of posts displayed for each forum member. It would cut down on some of the unnecessary postings like this entire thread.

I just had an idea.

Now that the forum has been around awhile, maybe Adam could pick a user or two to be mods? That would keep the forums more in check as they continue to grow and lessen his responsibility around here.

Maybe I should post a new thread about this?

Wow! :idea:

Let's not and say that we did. ](*,) [-X

Of course, I am just playing here considering this thread. :mrgreen:

Mods would probably be helpful to Adam, though. [-o<

Drew Carey in Whose Line Is It Anyway: "Welcome to Whose Line Is It Anyway, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter" which he follows up by comparing the points with something that really doesn't matter.

If he reads this I guess he can say something like "Yep the points don't matter, just like the number of posts you have in an online forum you geekazoids."

Maybe then we will get it.
