No more hp branded iPods

Recommended Posts

i just read that also, but i feel that it helped, beccause i know some people who had them because they were windoze users and maybe felt more comfortable witha an h one. It's also bad because it was 8% of all ipods sold, and if you think about it, that's

almost 1/10!

My wife has a 40gb HP iPod. It cost us $50 less than the Apple branded one and came with the dock/cradle which my U2 iPod did not.

And it seems like just not too long ago that HP announced that they would be including the iPod Shuffle in their product offering. I guess I'm rather indifferent to the move, as I would be buying an Apple branded iPod in the long run anyway.

I guess I wonder if they sold because they were hp branded, or in spite of it. I think that the iPod is so well known by now it should be just fine without hp's help.

My grandma bought my an HP Ipod, mistakenly thinking they were all the same (which as far as hardware they are)...but the box only came with Windows software.

Obviously, I found the software online and everything was fine and good, but the overall product was just confusing. There seemed to be no point in the HP branding, and that's not a great way to sell products.

Guess they realized that.
