OpenOffice or NeoOffice? ...

Rebuilding my G4 iBook after a crashed HD. Is one of these 2 suites markedly better than the other? Or more stable on Tiger?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if Openoffice has released an official release yet, but their current stable release (version 2) requires x11 to run. The new version 3 beta though supposedly doesn't require x11 anymore (Mac native) but I have yet to use it. NeoOffice is really good (Mac native) and I used it when it first came out, but have since switched to iWork. It gets the job done and it is essentially Openoffice. Either way though, you are getting the same product with the same capabilities as far as I know. Good luck and hopefully someone else will have advice to sway you one way or the other, but I say download them both and try them out. Keep whichever one you like.

NeoOffice is much more mac friendly. X11 is brutal and I think the native version of open office for mac is still beta.
