.sit files

I have dowloaded some files to my mac that have the extension .sit. As i am new to mac i am not used to this file type. Could someone please tell me how to install it as 1 of the files is dreamweaver and i need it for my work.

 

Also does anyone know if i can have a status monitor for my Epson R300 (mainly used to check how much ink i have left) i used to have it when i was on windows but now i am on mac it does seem to support it. i have looked every where but i carrn't find it for the mac

Ever used Google eXtreme ?? Just type an unknown extension into the search field in Google including the dot (.sit) and you will get a plethora of answers. It's good Google... ;-)

 

Here is just one of the answers it came up with today...

I'm not sure whether Epson Mac drivers support ink monitoring, but you can get specific drivers here:

This one also mentions status monitor. Not sure if that includes ink levels though. Check it out yourself.

no idea what your talking about...... .sit is a file extension that can be opened with Stuffit expander

look for stuffit EXPANDER... its the free one

Ya, you can get Stuffit expander for free to simply extract stuff. If you get Stuffit Delux you can re-stuff stuff.

SIT is to Mac what ZIP is to PC

 

Stuffit is to Mac what WinZip is to PC

 

Yes I know Mac has ZIP too but that is the easiest way to explain it.
