I'm about to switch.... back !

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm about to switch... back ! What ? I used to work on Mac computers since 1985 up to 1996 (Mac 128K -> Power Mac 6100) then I quit for the other world... now I own an iPod (20G, 3G) and with all the momentum around Apple products like OS X, Macintosh, iPod, and the Windows XP 'thing', I'm really anxious to be back on the Mac.

I'm waiting after sept 20th because of the Keynote from Steve Jobs at the Paris Apple Expo. Wonder what he will say on keynote. If nothing really different is announced on Sept 20, then I'll go the for iMac G5 20 inch.

I'll let you know.

:D

With no Keynote at the Paris Expo, this may be a signal that no new major upgrade or product will be presented... so I may not wait for sept 20th to order my mac.... don't know yet...

Agreed, but Steve Jobs likes to do things personally, so with no keynote I'd say it's unlikely.
