Chaptered AAC burned to gapless CD?

Recommended Posts

I found a tutorial online that shows how to create a chaptered AAC file using ChapterTool and then you can either use it as AAC or if you put it in a playlist in iTunes and burn that playlist, it will supposedly burn it to a CD using the chapters as track markers with no gaps between tracks. Several people on this tutorial claimed that it worked.

I tried it on my Powerbook with Superdrive and it won't work. I can get a great chaptered AAC file but, when I burned it to a CD, there are short gaps between the tracks as if I were burning mulitple MP3 files to a CD.

Has anyone else tried this and had a problem? Or has anyone else done this and done it successfully? Do I need to change some settings?

To manually change the gap between tracks, open the iTunes preferences > burning and on gap between songs select none.
