Can anyone help me please.......

Everytime i launch Entourage i get an error telling me that it was unable to establish a secure connection to the server......becuase certificte on server has expired.

Can anyone help me how to i re-issue or extend the certificate?

I have tried to read about this online but cannot solve.

Thanks

Well, the error is actually telling you all you need to know (shockingly for a microshaft product!). When connecting securely to a server, it needs to have a certificate so you know the server is who it's saying it is. If this certificate is expired, then obviously this won't work. You will need to contact whoever administers your mail server for this.

OK - i think i know what you mean ! - when you say contact your mail server do you mean the company i host with? (e.g. SHERWEB) or do you mean my own company it manager?

i use an exchange server in entourage directed from my POP3 mail.

Thanks for the prompt reply

James

Whichever company you're trying to make the connection to in the end.
