How to turn of sound after CD is imported and ejected?

Recommended Posts

One of the things that anoys me is the bell sound iTunes makes to let you know that a CD import is completed. I've been in the process of re-ripping my collection while trying to do other things. I know tha the import is done because the CD is ejected.

While listening to other music or podcast the sound can be deafning. How do you turn this off?

[update] I'm a Windows user, unfortunately....

APPLESCRIPTS DON'T FREAKING...

Excuse me, I mean, Apple Scripts don't work on PCs.

So. If you WERE on a mac, you could trash the 'complete.aif' file found

/Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Resources/complete.aif

or replace it with a different sound. I don't know how PCs work, but if you can open the iTunes program as a folder, you should be able to change it.
