Hi All,

I am new to Mac's and have tried today to save some of my itunes videos to iDVD which I have done successfully although it did crash a few times. I have tried to burn to a DVD+RW but whenever I try to do this iDVD crashes. Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

Kind Regards

It's not the sort of thing I've done - my one and only video in iTunes being wrapped in Apple's DRM being as I bought it from the iTunes Store - hence exporting it (legally at least) to optical media not being an option. It may be the media itself that's the problem - re/write types never being reliable - even in a batch of runners some failing. (I've only ever used Sony media - which you would hope would be reliable - yet when I use their RW media more than once on several Macs and even some Windows boxes this has resulted in a few being toasted.) I suggest you try creating a disk image first to prove it's not the media and then try and burn it to your chosen media. It's all explained in the Help facility.
