I need to convert a vlc audio file so I can have it on my iPod. Any easy way to do that?

Thanks.

VLC is just a player for many different formats... so check the file extension. Try Audacity for the conversion.

It wouldn't open in anything else and the icon is with the vlc logo on it.@

FYI for everyone who might not know, WMA is the Windows Media equivalent of a Mac aac file ( or an mp3 ). The video Windows Media extension is WMV.

And also, for anyone that may not know already, if you install Flip for Mac, these Windows Media files will play fine through Quicktime and/or Frontrow .... that won't help if you want to put it on your iPod, but at least it makes playback on your Mac easier.
