Trouble with Audiobooks on iPod

Recommended Posts

Ok, why is it that on my iPod Audiobook tracks are listed alphabetically and in iTunes they are in "album" order? Obviously iTunes is organizing these fils better since track 1 has to come before track 2 even if the title of track 2 would alaphabetically come before track 1. This is especially a problem when you have more than one audiobook on your iPod.

Is there a way to make the iPod organize audiobooks by album before listing the individual tracks? Sure I could just search for the audiobook under the Album folder on the iPod, but then why even have an Audiobook folder if you can't use it?

i just create a playlist and rip them right into the playlist. it cuts down on the headaches for me.

I understand that there are workarounds, but my real question is, is there a way to make the Audiobook folder on the iPod work like all other folders on the iPod and iTunes.

It just doesn't make sense to me that Appe would create one folder that acted differently from all others when that difference makes the folder unusable.
