Canadian Mac in the UK

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I live in the UK and will be visiting Canada in December. As the exchange rate seems quite favourable I'm thinking about buying a MacBook Air (possibly refurbished) from Apple when I'm there and then bringing it home to use as my regular laptop in the UK. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether there would be any difficulties with this?

I know I need to buy a power supply, but I was more curious in whether Apple would support the Mac in the UK?

Thanks for any help,

Martyn

the power supply (brick) works from 90V-240V AC 50/60 cycles. it's known as universal. you just need the correct power plug to make it work. which you can purchase locally—no questions asked. the power cord slides off allowing you to replace it with the local version.
