Actually, this is more like Sepia or actually a color negative. B&W has no color. :)

what is it the use of this feature anyway? I mean it is embedded into the OS and all... seems kinda important?

try this one

 

command-option-plus

(hold down plus)

 

(if nothing happens, do command-option-8 FIRST)

It's inverted. Do a screen grab, drop it in Photoshop and (re) invert it. Voila! You're screen un-inverted.

 

This is actually part of the accessibility features in the Universal Access control panel.

Option-Command-8 Turns Zooming on/off

 

With zoom on, use Option-Command and -/= to zoom in and out.

u can find more shortcuts by going to

 

syst. prefs - keyboard and mouse - keyboard shortcuts

 

and voila! u can change shortcuts to your personal touch, and discover new ones!
