-pics- my new 5G iPod with my 1G iPod

Recommended Posts

I thought these were kinda neat to see how far the iPod has come in 4 years, I got my original iPod from my wife for Christmas in 2001. I've upgraded the battery to a NewerTech one (easy to do if you're thinking of doing it).

My 1G looks kinda clunky now, and of course I had to get my 5G iPod to match my Black Razr. :-)

They should have some kind of replacement deal; like:

"Trade in your 4g ipod and get a new video ipod!"

Wishful thinking from a poor uni student.

These images are great, they really show the difference well. Thanks for the resource.

You can trade in your iPod for a discount on a Dell MP3 player, probably not quite what you were looking for though. :-)

Dell Offer

On the second picture there is what looks like a little red light in the bottom corner. Is this actually a light or some type of reflection from the photography?

Just a question,

It is from the camera, that red light shows when I am taking the picture, just a reflection.

Yes, there was a 10gig 1G iPod, but it was introduced several months later than the 5gig.

Mine is a 5gig. Check out the pictures of the battery swap, it plays for over 20 hours now in shuffle mode with the high capacity NewerTech battery from MacSales.
