concerning the iBook battery

Recommended Posts

Its a shame that the warranty doesnt cover the battery. We all have got to remember to cycle the battery as much as possible. But anyways I was wondering if this rule applied to the iPod batteries as well. I remember a few shows ago that Adam mentioned he thought it was worth it to buy apple care if you were buying a new iPod so your battery would be covered. But if this battery rule applies to iPods as well as iBooks than it really wouldnt be woth it. I'm planning on buying a new iPod soon (January) and I was planning on getting apple care, but now I don't know, any suggestions?

My suggestion is to *always* get AppleCare - no matter what the product.

AppleCare has saved me the price of a new computer multiple times.

It covers parts and labor on 99% of the problems you'll have with Apple products.

And if you compare the cost of AppleCare to the cost of taking your product in to get repaired, it's a no-brainer.

hope that helps.
