:roll: AMD is clearly the current speed leader. This is actually being recognised in the industry, but intel has a very strong road map for the future, and is a better choice if your concern is power per watt, due to pentium m.

Here is proof of AMD's speed dominance, Intel can't keep up with dual core's because they hit a thermal limit when they went to dual core, with how inefficient the pentium 4 is.

And no apple is not going to use a crappy pentium d in powermacs. They'll be using this.

Also you can not argue with the facts.

On the benchmark application 3D Mark 05, all the top 5 computers use AMDs.

On the benchmark test 3D Mark 03, all the top 5 computers use AMDs.

On the benchmark test PC Mark 04, All the top 3 and the 5th use AMDs, the 4th place winner used a Pentium.

Also I read that AMD is over 2 years ahead of intel in chip design, that is execpt in mobile technology where intel has had a two year head start. Also intel has yet to produce a true dual core desktop processor.
