Missing Manual Review coming...

Recommended Posts

I recently ordered myself a copy of the OSX Missing Manual, Tiger Edition written by David Pogue. I'm getting it around the 17th-19th and will probably be reading it like... well, like a avid Harry Potter fan would read a book. :D

I read the German translation of it a few months ago and it really is great. I've learnt to much from it! Plus, the humour is brilliant.

David Pogue is great! I saw him speak at Macworld a few times. He's really funny.

He said he wasn't going to do too many more Missing Manuals for ILife because they update it too fast. He can't keep up.

He also has weekly podcasts and video on new technologies.

I'm fortunate enough to live across from Barnes and Noble (and next to Best Buy, Office Depot, Target, ect. ect. ect. I love it) so I have been over there frequently to read the Missing Manual. Great book, has a lot to offer a power user and a newbie. Great resource to have around. I would love to purchase...but saving for other things!

I don't see a podcast listed on there or on iTunes. Did he stop doing one?

I got the manual in the mail yesterdday but it'll take longer than I originally anticipated. The thing has got to be three, maybe four inches thick!
