Recommended Posts

I would like to put some HTML stuff in my iWeb website. How would I do it?

i am pretty certain that iWeb does not allow HTML.

However, using iWeb Enhancer will allow you to enter HTML code onto your page

The design/layout is more than likely CSS but the rest of the code should be HTML tags.

I have looked at iWeb's code and it is terrible! RapidWeaver does a much better job!

iWeb is not intended for anyone who can code / spell / pronounce HTML. For those people, you'll need something else like RapidWeaver, Dreamweaver or a text/code editor such as BBEdit.

Well there goes the chance of putting a PayPal donation button on my website. :(

Well iWeb does allow you to publish a site to a folder on your Mac, so you could edit the HTML/CSS in there. It might take a while to get the button where you want it but it should work.

Unfortunately, and I say this because I really WANTED iWeb to be everything Dreamweaver isn't (like 100% operational), iWeb was not made for us heavy coders. Apple could have easily fixed this and brought iWeb up to the level of Pages, but sadly, they have yet to do that.
