You will never guess what the most Vista ready system is...

Recommended Posts

Hahaha, CNet does it again. Can everybody do me and themselves a favor and just stop going to CNet? It's all just rubbish.

Still kinda funny though.

What are you guys laughing about? Microsoft says that the CPU needed for Vista is an 800 MHz processor. That is rubbish.

The article is nothing more than the reporter saying that the most Vista ready machine (read: capable) is his Mac mini. That actually is a positive for Apple, is it not?

The reporter was not saying that the most Vista capable machine was the Mac mini. He was just saying that, of the equipment that he personally had on hand, his Mac mini was the most capable machine for running Vista.

It was another pointless comment thrown in as some sudo sensational rubbish to get the article read, Kerry. Why else would you say it? It just seems mad to me.

Well, I just went into my kitchen and of the three types of fresh fruit that I saw, the grapes were the smallest.

I think Matt's point is that the CNET article is as relevant as my fruity comment just now.

it was mostly sporn's subject line... nto the article. I hate when people don't use accurate subject lines

If ya read the article again, he is talking about the upgrade tool you can run that is in beta. The tool told him that, that is not his own opinion.

exactly. The subject line for this thread is misleading but regardless he was talking more about the POS upgrade check tool that microsoft has released and how of all the machines the writer had on hand the tool said the mac mini was the best suited for vista. He does talk about how his compaq will be just fine and would be a better choice but the tool said, inexplicably, that it would not work. I will say though that the professors grape comment is definitly more relevant.
