need to crash my Mac os x

Recommended Posts

Unix is Un-crashable. :) You can overheat it or take a magnet to the hard drive.

Install ATI Firmware 1.06 on a Radeon X800XT

Fix...install the latest firmware. 1.09?

You could take a sledgehammer to it like they did once on the Screen Savers just to appease those who claimed Patrick never smashed Macs.

Fix.... superglue and patience?

How can I crash my Mac OS X? version 10.3.9  (also need the fix for it too)

1) Connect an external hard drive and mount it.

2) Put the computer to sleep.

3) While it is still asleep, disconnect the external drive.

4) Wake the computer and enjoy your kernel panic message.

I know this is a nice discusssion, but it is obviously spam.

this guy has not replied, and it is a stupid question. He may be trying to increase his google rating, but makes post that don't appear to be spam.

What Google rating? Sometimes people post messages that contain links to websites in order to increase the page rank of those sites, but this person posted no links in his message. I do not see how it could be spam. The message does relate to using a Mac, and so it is relevant to this forum.

It should probably be kicked to the off topic forum, but as long as we're having fun with it what's the difference?

BTW, rolling your car and having your iBook ejected from the sunroof in the process will not crash your Mac. I have seen proof of this. Split casing, shattered screen, but hook up an external monitor and it's good to go.

This maybe a silly topic, but I also fail to see how it's SPAM. As was pointed out there are now links, etc. I checked the profile and there is nothing there either.

Cruel, or not the fact is, being 1 of 5 mac user at work (I’m a designer) I’m not going to trouble shot these computer when they can hire someone who can cross platform. Instead we get this guy who tells me to wait a week before he can install Indesign on my mac, when I see it on his desk.

oh, sorry. You probaably should have re categorized though.

A simple kernel panic message would be simple. You can pull out all of your ram and try to boot up. If he knows what he's doing then he will immeadiately know how to fix it. you could backup your data and remove a few system files. theres endless possibilities,

I am sorry for thinking that your post was spam. If you had provided more info about why you wanted to crash OSX then it would have been so contrivercial.
