Force eject cd from macbook pro

I have a macbook pro, and every once in a while my cd will get stuck on something inside the case.

is there a way to manualy eject the cd?

the eject button, but i would definately bring that in... you dont want that to happen if you are scratching DVDs and stuff like that.

There are a number of ways to eject through OS X. Firstly you can use the keyboards eject button, secondly through right (control) clicking the disk and choosing eject, thirdly by using the eject command in Disk Utility and lastly by holding your mouse/trackpad button down during startup. These are in order, the last being the most often effective.

 

I agree with the above poster however; if you are having eject issues then it should be looked at by Apple, and Apple Store or your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Turns out that it was a certain Adobe CS2 Cd that was causing the problem. They did replace the drive though. Works great now.
