For me it's an iPod nano 3G, 8 Gigs of storage, and still 6.2 gigs left.

I wanna put a few DVD's on soon...

I wish I had gotten the TOuch now though, safari and everything is great for me.

well i'm thinking the ipod i buy will have to last for 4 years... so i want to buy something like a week after it comes out :)

My 1st gen 5Gb is still in operation (my sister-in-law has it).

I'm hoping we'll get a 32Gb iPhone with 3G in June so I can buy it and pass my current one on to my DA.

I started with a hand-me-down 30GB iPod Photo when my fiancee got a new silver 80GB iPod Classic.

I replaced it with a black 8GB 3rd gen Nano after the hard drive failed.

I just recently replaced that with a 16GB iPod Touch, which I got through the back to school promotion, and I am LOVING it!

I also was able to resurrect the Photo a few months ago. I popped off the back to get a look at the insides and all of a sudden the hard drive stopped skipping! I handed it off to my sister, but she says the battery failed last week. Oh well.

My first was a hand me down 20g 4th generation iPod and I now have a 80g 5th classic iPod. Both are excellent, though my sisters first 4th generation iPod died quickly.
